Q.  How long are Arbor Buildings warrantied?

A.  Arbor Metal Buildings have a full 5 year workmanship warranty and our commercial grade quality 26 gauge metal siding has a LIFETIME paint warranty for decades of durability and no maintenance.

Q.  How do you insure that I get a quality job?

A.   From day one we use detailed checklists to implement continual OVERSIGHT and quality at every stage of construction.  With more than 40 years experience we know what produces a quality project. Only quality craftsman and materials fit our standards. We truly want every Arbor Metal Building to be an asset to the customer’s property. Q.  Do you build in the city limits too?

A. Usually not. The red tape, permitting procedures and additional engineering fees required by the city result in the project being so expensive that the customer is usually not interested in proceeding. Q.  Does Arbor Metal Buildings build both small & large jobs?

A.  Every job is equally important.  It is important to you right?  That’s why it is important to us.  We build anything from a backyard building to a large commercial metal building.

Q.  How long should I wait before Arbor Buildings will return my call?

A.  You will always receive prompt attention from Arbor Buildings.  We try to answer every call as they come in but being that we offer onsite contractor services, we are not always in the office to answer your call immediately. We will always return your call within 24 hours at the latest!  Prompt “Customer Service” is one thing we understand and pride ourselves on.

Q.  Can I finish out the interior myself if I want more than a shop / storage area?

A.  Sure and you will save money doing so.  We can even frame up the interior with traditional wood framing to match whatever floor plan you might have so you can finish it out the way you want it.  If you are in the city limits, please check with your city hall.

Q.  Do you offer other construction services related to the project?

A.  Arbor Metal Buildings offers many aspects of construction relating to the project if needed.  From installing utility lines and septic systems, to pouring driveways and sidewalks.

Q.  How long does a project usually take?

A.  Usually 2 to 3 months, depending on the scale of the project, weather and location.  Quality sometimes takes a little longer but it’s worth the wait to get an Arbor Metal Building.

Q.  Can I design or have input on the building plan?

A.  Of course! Your satisfaction is out goal. Let us know what you have in mind and we will be happy to give you a quote. Arbor also has decades of residential experience and can help you design a great Shop, Garage, Business building, Ag building at no extra charge. We even throw in a set of professional detailed blueprints with every order!

Q.  What about any special features or accents?

A.  Arbor Metal Buildings offers many upgrades and options to dress up your building to make it aesthetically pleasing.  Arbor buildings offers options like accent lighting, shutters, wainscot, residential type overhangs, brick, rock, porches, ranch style doors, extra wide window and door trim, etc. Your satisfaction is out goal.  Let us give you a quote . . . Q.  What about financing?

A.   Need a loan? We can familiarize you with the process so you know what to expect. Our experience has been that it is fairly difficult to obtain financing on a single stand alone metal building on a vacant tract of rural land. We recommend checking with your banking channels before proceeding if you haven’t already. Home equity loans for metal buildings are usually available if you live on the same land as where your new Arbor building is going to be constructed. If you are wanting to build on a tract of land that you do not reside on on, it helps to be self funded. But check with your bank to be sure of all your options.

Q.  When do we pay for it?

A.  We require approximately 38% down on metal buildings and then you will be invoiced based upon the progress of the project until completed.  Arbor will never bill you or expect to be paid for work not yet completed.  

Q.  If I have an H.O.A. or Restrictive Covenants in effect on my property should I make sure that I will be in compliance?

A.  Yes.  Please check for any restrictions and/or obtain the necessary approvals needed before proceeding.  Arbor has a lot of experience in this area and can help guide you if needed.

Q.  Will there be any impact to my property from the construction?

A.  Arbor Buildings makes every effort to minimalize impact to your property during construction.  We provide onsite trash & restroom services for our construction workers. Your site will be left clean, graded out, and ready to enjoy when we are finished.  Please expect the grass to take a little while to recover from the normal wear and tear of a construction project after we finish.

Q.  Is Arbor Metal Buildings insured and bonded?

A.  Of course.  Arbor Buildings is bonded and insured and have certificates for your review.

Q.  How far from Waco will Arbor Buildings travel to do my project?

A.  For Arbor Metal Buildings to be competitive, we like to stay within about 30 minutes of our offices here on 11810 Highway 6 Crawford, Texas.
